Low Same-Direction Reels Lesson Type: Beginners Prerequisites: Basic Spinning Alternative Names: Watermill, hip reels, low turn, hip turn This is the first lesson on the very diverse and essential range of moves called reels. Reels are basically just spinning the poi at various positions in the wall plane. Very simple, but may take some practice to get looking nice. A mirror or some form of instantaneous visual feedback is essential. If you’re finding them hard, just post a video response of yourself attempting them, and I’ll help you out.
