Here’s a link i found on him www.ozcastings.com I first saw him doing contact with *THREE* staff at a party called ‘Rainbow Serpent Festival’ near melbourne – australia. Then i met him again at 2UberOz which is a yearly workshop for twirling & performing (last held in brisbane – australia) where you get to learn from some of the best in the world. Low Same-Direction Reels Lesson Type: Beginners Prerequisites: Basic Spinning Alternative Names: Watermill, hip reels, low turn, hip turn This is the first lesson on the very diverse and essential range of moves called reels. Reels are basically just spinning the poi at various positions in the wall plane. Very simple, but may take some practice to get looking nice. A mirror or some form of instantaneous visual feedback is essential. If you’re finding them hard, just post a video response of yourself attempting them, and I’ll help you out. Butterfly Low Reels Lesson Type: Beginners Prerequisites: Basic Butterfly Spinning In this tutorial, I teach you how to do the butterfly low reels. This move is very cool and will lead to some wonderful things once you’ve completed your reels training. I have put this move up before the butterfly, as I believe that this move is not only easier to learn and get consistent and confident with, but it also far more useful and essential for visually effective poi twirling.
